I was recently reading in 1st Thessalonians 5 and verse 8 struck me:
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
KJV
As Christians, we are seen as “people of the day”. During daylight hours we are to be working, praying, teaching, listening, and each morning we are to put on our armor.
The bible often contrasts day with night. I found this verse interesting during these times of civil unrest. Make no mistake friends, this IS A SPIRITUAL battle. A battle for the very soul of America and testing of Christians here in America
I am thankful that God has placed Mr. Trump as our President. We all may not like him but it is who God has placed him in a position of authority. We can certainly see the fruits of his work through President Trump.
How is your life reflecting the “day”? Look around this country. Who is reflecting the “night” and take note of them and the fruits they are producing.
-Checking what fruits my daylight is producing on my spiritual tree along with you checking yours!
