FMF: Another

It’s another day with the sun coming up, coffee brewing, baby stirring.

Another day to practice, to work on things, to talk, to laugh, to enjoy.

We are given another for greater purposes than we can even fathom. Another chance to change, to stop and smell all the roses. Another chance to dream, another chance to…

Life promises us nothing, Jesus gives us everthing.

  1. Yes, every day is a gift from God. Every day is another opportunity to use it for his glory. I pray he helps us both be prudent with what he has given us, even if it is just another day.

“His compassions never fail; they are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

  2. Don’t know what this is all about,
but it’s not for me to savvy,
so I’ll give the dog a shout,
and throw a stick for Labby,
    who is, yes, true, a Labrador;
    how did you ever guess?
I have got quite a few more,
    and I must here confess
that I am running out of names
    to give each canine face,
none of them quite look the same,
    and each deserves named place
    that shows some imagination ‘stead
of calling the Red Heeler ‘Red’.

  3. I love your sweet message. We really do need to focus on the promise of another day instead of the, perhaps, drudgery of it (not that I think of my days this way, but some people do). <3
