There are and will be many connections we will make in our lifetime. Connections are important in life as well as business. I was 22 years old when my husband and I tried to have children. We spent a year trying to make this happen before we moved on for further help.
It all seemed so simple. How come this is so hard to make happen? People all around me were getting pregnant. It seemed all so easy, but the deeper I dived into the art of getting pregnant, the more I realized it truly was not that easy. We are “fearfully and wonderfully made”.
Infertility equals barren
Infertility is/was a hard journey mentally and financially. It was my first adult confrontation with, “I don’t control this, do I?”. And God saying “No” was very hard to hear.
Then adoption entered the picture. That, too, has been a story and a journey. Which led us to places and situations we would have never imagined.
These things: infertility, and adoption, have all led me to think about connections, especially my connection with and to God.
The first connection
I will leave you with this verse :
Man and Woman in the Garden …22And from the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him. 23 And the man said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for out of man she was taken.” 24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.…
